Dr. Anita I. Miedziak is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in cornea, cataract, and refractive surgery. She is a Managing Partner and Director of Cornea and Contact Lens Services at Princeton Eye Group, where she has practiced since 1999.

Clinical Expertise

Dr. Miedziak’s practice includes cataract surgery, LASIK and other refractive procedures, corneal transplantation, and reconstruction of the front of the eye. Her work includes complex cases involving the cornea, iris, and implanted lens. She develops surgical plans around each patient’s eye health, visual goals, and daily activities.

Education and Training

Dr. Miedziak earned her medical degree at the Medical College of Pennsylvania and completed her ophthalmology residency at Wills Eye Hospital. She then held the Henry and Corinne Bower Research Fellowship at Wills Eye, followed by fellowship training in cornea and anterior segment surgery at the Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins. She also completed a refractive surgery fellowship at the Barraquer Institute in Bogotá, Colombia.

Teaching and Service

Alongside her clinical practice, Dr. Miedziak has participated in ophthalmic research, taught resident physicians, and contributed to international surgical missions. In March 2025, she provided volunteer eye surgery in Belize with SEE International and the Belize Council for the Visually Impaired.
