Danielle
Danielle has been an Optician since 1995. She came to the Optical Shoppe of Princeton Eye Group in 2019, as our current manager. Originally from the NYC area, Danielle has an A.A. degree from New York University, as well as a Grand Diploma in Classic Pastry Arts from the French Culinary Institute. She studied Ophthalmic Dispensing at Raritan Valley Community College. Danielle is licensed in New York and New Jersey as well as certified by the American Board of Opticianry. In 2011, Danielle was appointed to the board of directors of the Opticians Association of New Jersey, where she is currently the President. You can find Danielle mostly in our Princeton location but she does travel to our Monroe and Somerset locations as well. NJ Ophthalmic Dispenser License: TD-3704
Benjamin
Benjamin started his journey in the eye field as an ophthalmic diagnostic technician in 2007. He has performed countless workups, ranging from basic eye exams to complicated surgical testing. Ben is currently working in The Optical Shoppe as an Apprentice Optician while attending Raritan Valley Community College as he prepares for the national ABO exam and state licensure exam in Ophthalmic Dispensing. Benjamin has had been with Princeton Eye Group/The Optical Shoppe since 2017. Stop into the Princeton location and wish Ben well on his studies. NJ Apprentice Optician AD-07614
Cindy
Cindy has been in the optical field since 1976. She came to The Optical Shoppe at Princeton Eye Group in 1989. She received her license from the New Jersey State Board of Ophthalmic Dispensers in 1991. You can find Cindy in our Princeton location where she takes care of her patients with the utmost care, concern and professionalism. NJ Ophthalmic Dispenser License: TD-2052
Connie
Connie has been an optician at the Optical Shoppe for more than 15 years. Her daughter was 1 years old and is now 17 and her son will soon be 12. Connie started her optical career in Atlanta, Ga while pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree at Kennesaw State University. In 2002 Connie moved to New Jersey where she studied Ophthalmic Dispensing at Raritan Valley Community College. Connie has been a New Jersey licensed optician since 2007. Her favorite part of her job is helping people realize their vision potential, while educating them on eye wear options they never knew were available. Craig
Craig has been in the optical field since 1986. He joined the Optical Shoppe in 2017. He has an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science from Camden County Community College. He is known to be fashion forward and friendly. You can find Craig in our Princeton location and occasionally in our Monroe location. He has been certified by the American Board of Opticianry since 1994 and has been licensed in the State of New Jersey as an Ophthalmic Dispenser since 2009. NJ Ophthalmic Dispenser License: TD-3649
Michael
Michael has been in the optical industry since 1978. He has been happily employed by The Optical Shoppe for the past 12 years. Mike is mostly in our Somerset location and occasionally in our Princeton location as well. NJ Ophthalmic Dispenser License: TD-1541
Melissa
Melissa has been in the optical field since 2013. She completed her optical studies at Raritan Valley Community College. Melissa joined the Princeton Eye Group team in 2016. You will find her at the Somerset location of the Optical Shoppe, and occasionally in Princeton. NJ Ophthalmic Dispenser License: TD-4075
Nia
Nia was promoted, from a different department in Princeton Eye Group, as our newest Apprentice Optician as of January 2023. She currently attends Raritan Valley Community College, where she will graduate with her AAS in Ophthalmic Science, while preparing for the national ABO exam and state licensure exam in Ophthalmic Dispensing. In her spare time she likes to study subjects like math, practice languages such as Spanish, as well as volunteer her time to a Nonprofit Organization, Good Grief as a peer facilitator. Pat
Pat has been in the optical industry for over 40 years. Over the past 20 years his warm good hearted nature has created a fan club reaching into the hundreds. Stop into our Princeton location to join Pat’s fan club. NJ Ophthalmic Dispenser License: TD-1171
Rich
Rich is our manufacturing engineer. He has been in the optical industry for more than 35 years. He came to the Optical Shoppe in 2003. You can find Rich in the lab of our Princeton location.
Teri
Teri has been in the optical industry for over 30 years. She joined The Optical Shoppe in 2020. You can meet Teri in our Monroe location and occasionally in our Princeton location.
