Throughout his career Dr. Wong was active on the boards of several healthcare organizations, and was named “Top Doctor” for the New York Metro area. In addition to conducting lectures at Wills Eye Hospital, he also lectured internationally in several countries, most notably on state-of-the-art cataract surgery. In addition, Dr. Wong volunteered his expertise with Surgical Eye Expeditions in China.
Highly experienced in the latest techniques of refractive surgery, Dr. Wong had a primary role in developing the Wills Laser Vision facility. Having performed LASIK surgery on his brother, Dr. Michael Wong, Dr. Richard Wong’s philosophy that each patient should be approached individually and cared for compassionately continues to be a key tenet of the Princeton Eye Group.
We wish Dr. Wong a happy, healthy, and prosperous retirement.
