The Kibuye Hope Project is a teaching hospital in Burundi, Africa, one of the poorest and most densely populated countries in the world. The hospital provides free treatment and surgeries to the people of this central African country, providing the gift of sight with a 15-minute cataract procedure. The hospital also fights to reduce the effects of retinoblastoma, a form of pediatric eye cancer, and a variety of other eye diseases.
