Upon guidance from the US CDC, the State of New Jersey and the American Academy of Ophthalmology, effective immediately, all routine eyecare appointments and elective surgical procedures are cancelled through April 15. Patients will be called at a later date to reschedule, once we are sure of re-opening for regular care. We will continue to evaluate our community situation, and will make updates on this website, our Facebook page, and on our phone system.
All intra-vitreal injection patients will continue to receive their scheduled treatments.
We are transitioning to a system of emergent and urgent eyecare only. Our phone system and website are active for these cases. Some of our doctors will offer tele-medicine options. We will evaluate each situation on an individual basis. All patients who are asked to come into the office will be required to accept the following:
1. You do not have a cough, fever or shortness of breath.
2. You have not knowingly been exposed to anyone with risk factors or symptoms for COVID-19.
3. Your temperature will be taken before entering the office and if you have an elevated temperature, or any of the above conditions, you will not be admitted into the office and will be referred to an appropriate specialist/hospital that can care for you.
4. Please wear a mask if you have one.
Thank you for understanding and abiding by our government’s and practice’s regulations. We hope to return to service all of our communities’ needs in the near future, but for now, please allow us to tend to the most urgent of eye issues.
