With the help of Novartis, the Princeton Eye Group had the honor to hear from guest speaker (and PEG employee!) Lindsay Sobel last week.
Lindsay’s talk “All the things eye didn’t know” detailed her journey over the last several years as a patient through various doctors’ offices. Although Lindsay’s battle ultimately resulted in the loss of her eye, she is using her experience to help educate others.
Her talk was both moving and inspiring for our doctors and staff, helping everyone to gain perspective on how each interaction, no matter how trivial, can make or break the patient’s experience. We look forward to hearing more of Lindsay’s brave journey.
