The majority of Princeton Eye Group's specialists completed competitive residencies or fellowships at Wills Eye Hospital, one of the most selective and respected ophthalmic training programs in the world. Active Faculty Leadership

Our connection to Wills extends well beyond training. Dr. Rahul Tonk serves as an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology on the Cornea Service at Wills Eye Hospital. Dr. John Epstein and Dr. Michele Solarte teach resident physicians the art of cataract surgery and clinical patient management. Dr. Daniel Lee served as Assistant Professor and Director of the Glaucoma Research Center at Wills before joining Princeton Eye Group. Dr. Anita Miedziak and Dr. Suzanne Jadico actively mentor Wills residents in clinical training. This ongoing academic engagement keeps our physicians at the forefront of the field and ensures that our patients benefit from care informed by the very latest advances in ophthalmology.

Michael Wong, MD

Ophthalmologist, Co-Founder

A co-founder of Princeton Eye Group, Dr. Wong helped bring LASIK surgery to New Jersey in its earliest days. The New Jersey Inventors Hall of Fame recognized his contributions with its Innovator's Award.

Each physician of Princeton Eye Group is a Staff Ophthalmologist at Penn Medicine Princeton Health. Dr. Samuel Liu has served as Division Chief of Ophthalmology in the Department of Surgery at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center since 2018, bringing subspecialty leadership to one of Central New Jersey's most important academic medical institutions.

Robert Wood Johnson Medical School

Under the leadership of Dr. Peter Murr, our physicians actively mentor and lecture local medical students at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, a commitment to homegrown medical education that reflects our belief in serving this community at every level, not just in the exam room.

Key Opinion Leadership

Princeton Eye Group physicians actively contribute to the future of the field through leadership roles on executive boards and clinical committees for the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) and the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO). Clinical Trials and Research

Princeton Eye Group has a long history of participation in landmark clinical trials alongside the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the National Eye Institute (NEI), and pioneering medical device and pharmaceutical companies. Dr. Anita Miedziak served as a site investigator in the pivotal Phase 3 trial that led to FDA approval of corneal cross-linking in the United States. Dr. Daniel Lee and Dr. Rahul Tonk have served as a primary investigators in multiple clinical trials investigating next-generation Glaucoma and Cornea therapies.
